Ceramic coating is chemical protection. PPF is physical armour — the only product on the market that actually stops a stone before it reaches clear coat. Ours is 8-mil self-healing urethane, optically tuned so the paint underneath looks better with it on than off.

Self-healing topcoat

The urethane surface reflows under heat, erasing swirl marks and light scratches in seconds. Repeatable — not a single-use claim.

Hydrophobic from day one

Water beads and sheets without a separate ceramic topper. Bugs, bird droppings and road film release under a normal rinse.

Crystal-clear optics

No haze, no orange peel, no distortion. Metallic flake pops, dark paint reads richer, and the car photographs deeper with film on.

Engineered against yellowing under constant sun. Southeast heat shouldn't turn a film amber at year three the way legacy acrylics did.

Pattern access comes with an active dealer account. These are the four packages most of our network builds their menu around.

Partial front

Front bumper, 18–24 inches of hood and fenders, headlights and mirrors. The classic rock-chip package and the easiest first sale in the shop.

Full front

Full bumper, full hood and fenders, headlights and mirrors. No cut line across the hood — the most-requested option, and the one worth demonstrating.

Track pack

Full front plus rocker panels and rear quarter rock guards. For customers who see canyon roads, track days, or a lot of interstate.

Full body

Every painted panel. Maximum resale protection, and the package that pairs best with a ceramic coating on top of the film.

PPF FAQ.

Does self-healing really work?+

On surface-level marks, yes — swirls, wash marks, fine scratches that sit in the topcoat. The urethane reflows at around 120°F, which a dark hood reaches on its own in summer. A deep gouge that cuts through the film is permanent.

Does PPF stop every rock chip?+

No film does. Eight mil of urethane absorbs the impacts that would otherwise chip clear coat, which covers the overwhelming majority of highway debris. A large rock at speed can still mark the film — but the film takes it instead of the paint.

Will it yellow?+

The topcoat is engineered against UV yellowing, which is what separated modern TPU films from the old acrylic generation. Yellowing inside the warranty period is a covered defect.

Color PPF or vinyl wrap?+

Vinyl changes the look. Color PPF changes the look and adds chip protection, self-healing and hydrophobics, because it's the same 8-mil protective chassis with pigment in it. It costs more and installs slower — and it's the upsell most shops underuse.

Can a ceramic coating go over it?+

Yes, and it's worth offering. Coating over PPF makes the surface slicker and easier to wash without affecting the self-healing behaviour underneath.
